Using state-of-the-art materials for over 20 years, we have developed our Custom Enamelâ„¢ restoration. Used on both front and back teeth, modern bonding materials are basically quartz-reinforced high-strength resin. Like porcelain veneers, they are also bonded to the existing tooth enamel, becoming "artificial enamel."
Bonding is used for filling small areas of decay, repairing damage to the sides of the teeth at the gum line and repairing small fractures of tooth enamel. Bonding has been used in our office since the early "1980s" as an alternative to mercury-silver fillings. Bonding is also used to rebuild or reshape an entire tooth surface when a porcelain veneer solution is not appropriate or desired.
